If the hinge boss is cracked but the chassis is otherwise sound, a targeted epoxy repair is sometimes viable. Where the mount has sheared fully, a replacement base cover gives a more durable result.
OEM base covers include the factory rubber pads. If the replacement is supplied without, we transfer the original feet or fit new ones — the machine sits flat and the underside looks factory-clean.
